It's the Festive Season that seems to creep up on us…
We’ve all been seeing the Easter Eggs in supermarkets since January - and sighing. Surely not already?!
Then all of a sudden it’s here, the little ones want to decorate, make easter bonnets, have an insta-worthy egg hunt and the family are coming round for lunch!
We’ve got some top tips for you from all of us here at Kindle House, about what and how we get ready for the Easter weekend and of course, we've shared some wonderful bits and pieces that you can pick up in store or online to help you along the way.
1. Don’t leave it all until Good Friday!
Get ahead and start putting up decorations and Spring themed things a bit in advance. Add some twigs or pussy willow to a vase to bring a bit of the outside in, you can always add some decorative eggs and chicks at the last minute! Read more about enjoying the transition between seasons, and leaving decorations up between festive periods in our February blog - HERE
2. Pick up a few extra chocolate bits (just in case)
There’s always one hunter that seems to finish with less eggs in their basket than they should, or the friend that pops in with presents for the Children and you haven’t got them a gift - save the stress and have some hidden away.
3. Have everything in for the table setting ready.
With our beautiful range from Sophie Allport, your table can become a total Spring masterpiece. Feast your eyes over napkin sets, tea cosies, wonderful faux flowers and so much more!
4. What about those who aren’t chocolate fanatics?
Check out our chocolate alternatives that make perfect gifts this Easter. For us, if it’s bright and cheery with a hint of nature - it’s definitely Easter gift appropriate!
5. Re-use the Easter bonnet from last years parade
Put the glue-gun down and dig out last years Easter Bonnet! The school judging panel won’t be removing points for ‘pre-loved’ crafts. In fact, we think they should be encouraging it.
We’d love to see your Easter spreads this year - with or without goodies from Kindle House. Use the #mykindlehouse and #mykindlehouseeaster to make sure that we see them.
Happy Easter all!
